The Antique American Tractor & Crawler Value Guide
I don’t believe this to be the definitive guide to the value of all tractors but it’s a start.
This book was compiled a second time in 2006 and uses the rating system generally established among car collectors. It’s written by Terry Dean and Larry L Swenson, two expert collectors touted by MBI publishing. It claims to list values based on prices actually realized at auction.
It lists the New Deal tractor manufactured by the Johnson factory in Wyoming Minnesota and states that only six tractors exist, an obvious misconception. Value is published in five different condition grades as follows:
(1) $3,500
(2) $7,000
(3) $10,000
(4) $14,000
(5) $18,000
