Don Zachrison took some excellent photos while rebuilding a New Deal tractor for the Chisago County Historical Society. These photos clearly illustrate the marriage of a Chevrolet model 490 transmission to the model T pinion gear along with the Chevy-to-Ford universal joint fabrication.

James Wasdin's Model A Tractor
James contacted me one day claiming to own one of the very rare Model A New Deal Tractors speculated to exist. This tractor has none of the known New Deal markings on it. However, since it would have been a prototype Model A tractor it is possible that it would not have any identifying company markings. I'm including it anyway because it's a New Deal Tractor cousin for sure.
